Sadly, many of the other people who watched the game ended their night with the reckless decision to drink and drive home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is an unfortunately common decision people make on Super Bowl Sunday. In fact, Tennessee police anticipate this increase in drunk drivers, and they&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.crossville-chronicle.com\/news\/local_news\/cpd-to-increase-dui-enforcement-super-bowl-weekend\/article_69bf3146-e7f3-11e6-86b9-1353293a70b7.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">announce crackdowns and ramped up enforcement efforts<\/a>&nbsp;every year, including this year. Unfortunately, they cannot stop every driver before he or she causes an accident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you or your loved one was injured in an accident involving a driver who was drinking this weekend, you have the right to take legal action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the insurance companies might work out a settlement that seems fair, the fact is that drunk driving accidents can cause extensive damages that are not easily or immediately seen. The money offered by insurance won\u2019t always cover all the damages you have suffered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides the damage to your car, you could also have extensive injuries that require emergency care as well as long-term care. Further, victims of serious accidents often experience emotional distress and pain and suffering after a crash, which is not necessarily reflected in an insurance settlement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With all this in mind, we want to encourage readers to consider filing a civil claim against a drunk driver to recover maximum compensation.
